Office 365 is a Microsoft subscription service that includes access to Office applications plus other ‘productivity’ tools that are all available over the internet (cloud services). Hull York Medical School provides a licence to Office 365 for all of our staff and students, which gives access to an extensive range of features. This includes 1Tb of data storage, 50Gb email and the ability to download the latest Microsoft Office on up to 5 devices.
Office 365 includes communication and collaboration tools like email & calendar, Microsoft Teams is used extensively within the school and includes instant chat, discussion groups, conferencing and more.
Your Office 365 account also allows you to access document management features, including real-time co-authoring with familiar Office online apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, easy storage, sharing and retrieval with intelligent search capability, and sharing options for both internal and external collaborators.
Downloading Office 365
Your Hull York Medical School Office 365 account allows you to install Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc) on up to 5 computers (PC or Mac). For further information please see Installing Office 365 software on PC, Laptop or Mac
