OpenCampus Portfolio Phase I: Understanding the Student Portfolio page

This article will explain the Phase I My Students page in OpenCampus. The My Students page is only available to PBL, Clinical Skills (CS) and Clinical Placement (CP) tutors.

From the My Students page, you can access the Portfolios of your PBL, CS or CP group.

Students are required to keep their Portfolio up to date at all times. Satisfactory completion of the Portfolio is a condition of entry to summative examinations. Prompt tutor feedback is an important element of this process.

Tutors are expected to monitor student engagement with the Portfolio and address any issues with their student group directly. If you have any questions regarding the Portfolio, please contact phase1@hyms.ac.uk.

Understanding the My Students page

On the My Students page you will see a list of all the students in your PBL, CS or CP group.  Here you will get access to that student’s portfolio and key information – such as the student’s PBL tutor, CS tutor and CP tutor.

This view can be filtered by Academic Year, Home Site, PBL group, CS group and CP group.

To access a student’s portfolio, click on their HYMS id. This will open the student’s portfolio in a new window.  From here you will be able to monitor their engagement with the portfolio activities and view their feedback.
