Removal of text message (SMS) and phone call based authentication on Monday November 30, 2026

Microsoft is continuing to strengthen account security by moving users away from less secure authentication methods such as SMS text messages and phone calls.

To ensure uninterrupted access to your HYMS account and Microsoft 365 services, you should set up the Microsoft Authenticator app for authentication and have registered an alternative email to ensure you can reset your HYMS password by Monday November 30, 2026. After this date Text message (SMS) and phone call authentication will no longer work.

We therefore ask you to:
  1. Download the App: Install the free Microsoft Authenticator app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone.
  2. Check Your Security Information: Visit mysignins.microsoft.com and sign in. Review your registered authentication methods to ensure you have Microsoft Authenticator set up for your current phone and an alternate email address, which can be used to change your HYMS password.
